About Tosha

Tosha Smith Mills is a courageous 40-something-year-old (not going to tell her actual age) with almost any life experience that any adult could experience. She is a serial entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience as CEO of The Talent Connexion, LLC, a successful talent agency in New Orleans, who has placed talent in an extensive list of Hollywood accredited films, television shows, and commercials; Tosha also has over eighteen years of experience in the legal field. Through this, she has discovered her passion in writing and is fulfilled by sharing her testimonies, empowering those in need, and helping others find their life’s purpose.

Tosha lives to inspire and empower as this is God’s assignment for her life. Tosha has been a featured guest on The Breakfast Club, Majic102, WYLD FM, The Laura Coates Show, WQUE 93 FM, WWL Radio, WBOK 1230, The Philipe Matthews Show and several other media outlets. She has also served as speaker/panelist at the Morehouse School of Medicine, John Jay Criminal College in NYC, Sacramento State Prison, NAACP Annual Conference, The Congressional Black Caucus Annual Conference, along with speaking at several churches, conferences, schools, youth facilities and non profit organizations.

Through her foundation, Parents with Voices, Inc, Tosha hopes to create a proactive environment where young people of all races and backgrounds can learn to embrace their collective power, receive support and guidance, conflict resolution techniques and develop the skills needed to become leaders to realize their vision for themselves and their communities.

Tosha is a native New Orleanian and is the wife to John, a mother to four young men, Blake, William, Christopher, and Trae, and a source of inspiration to all.

When Tosha is not writing and speaking, she is spending time traveling, reading, walking alongside clients on the red carpet or helping others. If she is not your biggest cheerleader, she will not be in the stands booing you either.

Tosha shares the message in her best selling Memoir “Momma I Should Have Listened” that you are stronger than your struggles and circumstances. We cannot stop unfortunate circumstances from happening, but it is a choice of how we react to them.

Tosha is a funny, witty, smart, but a tell-it-like-it-is Southern Belle with a more than just a Southern Smile!
